The product has been specifically developed to allow four unconnected buyers, be they friends, collegues or family members, to combine their resources and collectively OWN a beautiful property, either individually of together. I fact you don't even need to know the other owners as all fractions are chosen on an individual basis.

Rental opportunities when you're not there
Assuming you share your property with 3 other owners you will each be entitled to 3 months occupancy in accordance with the Stepping Stones rotational scheme. So, if you only plan on using one month, you can rent out the balance either to your friends and family, your co-owners or through the Resort Management Service. Whichever way it will help defray your annual expenses. Again it makes sound financial sense.
Stepping up the property ladder
The concept of Stepping Stones recognizes that many buyers would like their investment in the overseas property market to be very controlled and considered. However there may come a time when you would like to move on to a larger shared property or even buy an apartment or villa outright. No problem. Oceânico have a solution.
Three Year Buy back guarantee
If you decide to upgrade to a more expensive property, after offering your property to your co-owners, the developer will guarantee to buy back your Stepping Stones investment at 5% per annum on your original investment, for up to 3 years. Then you can either buy in the same development or another attractive property from the developers portfolio in Portugal or the Azores.
Or if you want to sell
The Stepping Stones documentation clearly lays out a procedure for selling your property. You will have a valuable asset to sell on the open market and the resale system is logical and fair.
Peace of Mind
Either way Oceânico will manage the whole process for you, help you adhere to the rotational occupation system for your 3 months. And ensure the maintenance and upkeep of your property when you are not there.
